Crawford
graduated from the University
of Vermont in 1992 with a degree in
Agricultural Economics and a Small
Business Management major. He is an
avid sportsman and outdoorsman who
has traveled extensively throughout the
American West, Canada and Mexico.
While living in Jackson Hole, Wyoming
from 1993-95, Crawford completed a
training program for Wilderness EMTs.
In 1996 and '97, Crawford worked for
MicroAge Corporation of San Rafael, CA,
and served on the
Board of Directors of
San Francisco
non-profit SMART (Schools Mentoring
and Resource Team). In 1998,
Crawford returned to Maryland to begin a
new career as a custom furniture maker.
